Erik ten Hag has a message for departing Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, who completed a move to Borussia Dortmund.
Jadon Sancho has finally departed Manchester United after a dismal few weeks at the club with the Englishman’s fallout with Erik ten Hag dominating the agenda.
After Ten Hag said Sancho wasn’t in the squad to face Arsenal because of poor training performances, the 23-year-old bit back and felt he was being scapegoated by the 53-year-old.
Well, since then, the 23-year-old had been exiled from the United squad before Borussia Dortmund finally agreed a loan deal to sign the former Manchester City academy player.

Ten Hag’s message for Sancho
Speaking ahead of United’s game against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, Ten Hag was asked for a message to the departing Englishman.
Despite the reported feud that the pair had, Ten Hag kept things classy with his message for the forward and said: “I hope he’s doing well, so I wish him the best of good luck. That’s it.
“I hope he’s doing well, and he’ll be a success.”
Sancho struggled to make a big impact at Old Trafford and was sent away for two months last season owing to his mental struggles according to the Dutchman.
Ten Hag experimented with Sancho in a false nine-role during pre-season but then didn’t start the forward despite the 23-year-old looking promising in that role.
Sancho back at Dortmund
The deal to take the Englishman back to the Bundesliga was completed yesterday and in the space of 24 hours, the Englishman has posted more on social media than he has in the past six months.
Sancho’s move to Dortmund is a loan deal with no option to buy with the German giants covering a part of his wages to complete the deal and get the Englishman off the books at Old Trafford.
When the summer comes around, Sancho’s future will of course be a key question again with Ineos set to have the final say over the Englishman’s time at Old Trafford.
