Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag faced a barrage of questions on Mason Greenwood in his pre match press conference.
All charges against Greenwood were dropped, Sky News reported yesterday, with criminal proceedings discontinued.
Ten Hag held his pre-match press conference this afternoon ahead of Saturday’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace.
The topic of Greenwood was raised by the press, however, Ten Hag was smart enough to evade the line of questioning.

Ten Hag responds on Greenwood
Mason Greenwood is currently under suspension by the club. BBC Sport report an internal investigation has now begun, with no timeframe set. Greenwood will not play or train until this concludes.
Quizzed about Greenwood, Erik ten Hag responded: “We have always to focus on the game, no matter what.”
Pressed further, he said: “No. Nothing. I can’t add nothing, I refer to the statement of the club.”
United had released a statement last night, which confirmed no immediate decision is to be taken on Greenwood’s future.
Greenwood, 21, has never played under Erik ten Hag. It is not thought that they have even met, or spoken.
Ten Hag was asked about this by reporters, and he responded: “As I said, in this moment, I can’t give comment about the process.
“I can’t say anything about it, I refer to the statement of the club and, at this moment, I can’t add anything.”
It is clear from the press conference, with Ten Hag having to repeat himself, that this is a hot topic for the press which could overshadow the manager’s preparations for matches.
This is why it is an easy decision to keep Mason Greenwood away from the club right now. It is a distraction the manager does not need.
Any decision on the player’s future should be taken in the summer, and not interfere with the club’s 2022/23 campaign.
