Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has been speaking at his press conference ahead of the Brighton fixture.
United are holding press conferences on Thursdays this year, to fit around the Europa League schedule.
The Red Devils play on Saturday lunchtime this week, the second fixture of the season, away at Brighton.
Manager Erik ten Hag has provided an update over one defender who is 100 per cent ruled out of the Premier League clash.

Victor Lindelof update
Erik ten Hag has confirmed Victor Lindelof will not be part of the travelling squad for the fixture.
He explained: “There is no confusion [about Lindelof], he has an issue on his toe.
“So hopefully he can return quickly, but he is not available for the weekend.”
United have until now not communicated the issue with Lindelof, who missed the Community Shield and the opening fixture with Fulham.
The injury does not appear to be serious, but it is enough to keep him out.
There is ongoing uncertainty over the defender’s future, with the Sweden captain falling down the pecking order.
Manchester United injury list
Erik ten Hag issued a further update, adding: “Also we have some more [issues], Tyrell Malacia, Rasmus Hojlund. They are not available as well. Luke Shaw, of course.”
Leny Yoro is also out until October at the earliest after fracturing his metatarsal in pre-season.
Hojlund and Shaw could be back in mid-September after the international break. Lindelof should be back by then too, if he is still at the club.
Lindelof’s injury could hold up his exit, yet he is holding out for a big move as his contract runs down.
As for Tyrell Malacia, he is a couple of months away – but we have been hearing that for around a year now.
