Edinson Cavani shares video training in isolation in United gear

Edinson Cavani has shared the first images of himself wearing United colours.

Cavani is currently self isolating in Manchester and he is busy trying to get up to full fitness.

The Uruguayan was wearing United’s new training top, as he sent a message showing his determination to get up to full speed, working out on a treadmill.

Cavani signed for United on transfer deadline day as a free agent.

He has been assigned the club’s number seven shirt and is currently scheduled to make his debut against former club Paris Saint-Germain.

A requirement to quarantine after flying in from France means Cavani could miss the Premier League fixture against Newcastle on October 17.

The Times report United are looking at whether Cavani could be granted an elite athlete exemption.
