After scoring his first Manchester United goal at the weekend, Edinson Cavani flew across the world back to his native Uruguay.
Cavani was called back into the Uruguay national team and will feature in World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Brazil.
The United striker has been pictured training with his Uruguay teammates and he looks to be in top shape.
Cavani has made four appearances for United as a substitute and should be due a first start, after netting against Everton.
The veteran striker must first negotiate the international fixtures without a hitch.
The second game next week will see Cavani go up against United teammate Alex Telles with Brazil.
Both players need match practice to get sharper, but there is a fine line to tread.
United don’t want either player to return tired, adding in the travel factor, or even injured. Cavani looks in top shape, we just hope he returns feeling stronger than ever too.
