Cristiano Ronaldo capped a comeback over Atalanta with a late header.
The number 7 leapt highest to bury a cross from Luke Shaw to help United beat Atalanta 3-2.
United were awful in the first half, defending poorly and wasting chances.

Ronaldo’s goal was his 795th for club and country and his sixth of the season for United.
After the win Ronaldo sent a message to United fans, celebrating the victory.
Ronaldo and United are now top of the Champions League group, having been bottom at half-time.
Atalanta away will be a tough away trip and then United travel to Villarreal. The team will have to defend better in both games to stand a chance.
There would have been serious pressure building on this team if United had lost the game. For now, United have avoided that.
But in addition to the tough Champions League away games, there are challenging games in the Premier League ahead, starting with Liverpool this weekend.
