Cristiano Ronaldo is continuing his preparations for his second Manchester United debut.
Ronaldo was pictured looking happy in training yesterday ahead of Saturday’s clash with Newcastle.
He has now taken to Instagram to send a message to the United fans as he gears up for his Old Trafford return.
It read: “New challenge, but always with the same goals! Let’s go Manchester United”.
All the signs are that Ronaldo will start against Newcastle, perhaps with Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood either side of him.
Another possibility is Ronaldo on the left with Edinson Cavani through the middle and Greenwood right.
But it looks like Ronaldo is more of a centre-forward than anything else these days.
He showed on international duty how deadly he can still be when he’s in the right areas and given the right service.

It will be quite the occasion on Saturday, especially if Ronaldo is selected to start as expected.
Even if he’s on the bench for whatever reason, the ovation he’d get coming on as a substitute will be huge.
Raphael Varane’s unveiling on the pitch was scintillating before the opening game of the season against Leeds.
Ronaldo’s return will see the atmosphere go to another level, and he’s ready for the challenge, as we all expected him to be.
