Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for September.
Ronaldo netted three goals in three games upon his return to Manchester United.
The Portuguese superstar beat off competition including Liverpool wideman Mo Salah.
And while on international duty with Portugal, Ronaldo took to Instagram to react to winning the award.
Ronaldo also won United’s Player of the Month award for September too, beating competition including David de Gea.
It is no surprise Ronaldo has wasted no time in making an impact following his return.
The loss against Aston Villa was the only league game last month he didn’t score in.
Even then, he could have done had Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to hand him the late penalty Bruno Fernandes took – and missed.

When Ronaldo comes back from Portugal duty, the focus will be on United improving a patchy period of performances.
United took just one point from their two home games before the international break.
A tricky run of fixtures is to come but Ronaldo is a big-game player who can be relied upon to make the difference in tight matches.
