It must be a joy for Manchester United’s players when Casemiro is playing in the team alongside them. The Brazilian was outstanding again last night.
When Casemiro compliments his teammates, it must mean a lot too, given both his quality and impeccable reputation.
Last night he showed his admiration for teammate Marcus Rashford, with a message on his Instagram page after the team’s 3-0 win.
Rashford was outstanding in the victory, scoring once and providing an assist in the first half.

Rashford was excellent in United’s win and was described by manager Erik ten Hag as ‘unstoppable’ when he is in this mood.
Rashford now has 10 goals and four assists for the season for United so far. He wrote in his post-match message: “The perfect way to see the year out at Old Trafford.”
Casemiro responded to his message on Instagram with three ‘fire’ emojis, showing his admiration for his teammate’s performance.
Tyrell Malacia and Ravel Morrison both also posted messages to Rashford, and there were also compliments from Alex Telles and Timothy Fosu-Mensah on his performance.
Rashford tribute to Jesse Lingard
Rashford’s focus after the game was on another former teammate, Jesse Lingard.
Lingard made his return to Old Trafford with Nottingham Forest, and after United’s win, the pair swapped shirts and left the pitch together.
