Former Manchester United youngster Will Fish is a hero in Cardiff after netting a famous winner.
Will Fish became the 240th Manchester United academy graduate when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer handed him a debut against Wolves in 2021.
Just 17-years-old at the time, Fish hoped this would be the first of many appearances for United. However, it turned out to be the only one.
After two loan spells at Hibernian, Fish played in pre-season for Manchester United in 2024 under Erik ten Hag, before finally being sold to Cardiff City.
Cardiff paid £1 million for the centre-back, and after he scored a winner against Welsh rivals Wrexham, the money suddenly looks like a bargain.

Will Fish scores first ever Cardiff goal
Will Fish played 24 times for Cardiff last season. They were relegated to League One, while a rapidly-rising Wrexham were promoted to the Championship.
The two teams were drawn against each other in the Carabao Cup, playing against each other for the first time since 2004.
Fish scored a dramatic volleyed winner at the back post to write his name into Cardiff folklore, with his 71st minute strike earning a 2-1 win.
The goal sent Cardiff through to the next round, while earning their first victory over Wrexham since a 3-2 win in March 2002.
Fish was making his 17th appearance of the season and his 41st game for Cardiff. He chose the perfect time to score his first goal for the club.
Buy-back clause
It was not his first professional goal. Fish scored four times for Hibernian during his loans in Scotland.
Still only 22, it is worth noting that Manchester United have a buy-back clause and a 30 per cent sell-on fee, negotiated into the sale.
Most importantly, it is just great to see a Carrington graduate doing well.
