Bryan Mbeumo has now sent out a powerful message to his Manchester United teammates after their underwhelming start to the 2025-26 season under Ruben Amorim.

The 26-year-old Manchester United summer signing has been a standout performer in the early stages of the campaign after his blockbuster move from Brentford.

Bryan Mbeumo has made seven appearances for the Red Devils in the 2025-26 season and the former Brentford ace has netted twice for Ruben Amorim’s side.

The French-born winger has become a key influence in the Red Devils’ attacking line-up and has adapted well to the demands of Amorim’s tactical system at United.

United pursued Mbeumo over the summer and the Red Devils finally landed the highly rated Cameroon international from Brentford with their third bid in July.

Bryan Mbeumo breaks his silence on Man Utd’s season after his spine-tingling return to Brentford in Saturday’s Premier League clash

Bryan Mbeumo made his first return to the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon for Manchester United’s 3-1 defeat to Brentford in the Premier League.

The former Bees star started in the United attack alongside fellow summer signings Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko, but he was unable to score in the match.

However, Mbeumo received a warm reception back at the Gtech Community Stadium after his previous stunning run of form at Premier League side Brentford.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “Obviously disappointed with the result, I had a warm welcome back from the fans and I will never forget that.”

Mbeumo also turned his attention to the Red Devils’ disappointing run of form and insisted that the United first team must be held accountable for their results.

“I think everyone in the team needs to take responsibility,” he added.

“When you play in a club this big, everyone needs to know what to do – as a team, we need to do better.”

Bryan Mbeumo reacts to the criticism that Man Utd have received after the 3-1 Premier League defeat to Brentford

Brentford’s 3-1 Premier League win over United on Saturday intensified the scrutiny on Ruben Amorim over the Premier League club’s disappointing season so far.

Wayne Rooney was deeply critical of United’s display on the weekend, while Gary Neville was equally brutal with his assessment of what he saw against Brentford.

Mbeumo, who United signed for an initial fee of £65m from Brentford, urged his teammates that they must remain focus amid the background noise around them.

“Obviously, it’s different, it’s not the same, but the only thing we want to be focused on is ourselves, we just try to listen to what’s going on inside,” he added.

“It’s not that hard [to block the noise out], obviously, the main thing we see is on social media, so it’s just not going on there much, and you just have to stay focused on your own things.”

United are 14th in the Premier League table after their opening six league matches and the Red Devils have lost three times in the league already under Amorim.
