Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford shared the Old Trafford pitch together for years at Manchester United.
Barcelona’s 2-0 El Clasico win over Real Madrid on Sunday meant that Marcus Rashford won La Liga while out on loan.
Rashford opened the scoring against Madrid with a wonderful free-kick, taking his goal tally in Spain up to 14 in 2025/26.
After the win, Rashford made it clear he would like to sign for Barcelona permanently rather than return to Manchester United.

During their time together at Old Trafford, Fernandes was full of praise for Rashford, and he has continued to be in contact with the Barcelona loanee on social media this season.

Michael Carrick would be open to Rashford’s return, and Fernandes is clearly still a big fan of the 28-year-old star.
