Manchester United whizkid Amad made an instant impact on his Rangers debut after scoring inside the first five minutes.
It shows how highly his new manager Giovani van Bronckhorst rates him after he went straight into the starting line-up, despite only joining the club on Thursday.
There were no signs of ring rust from the young Ivorian despite his last outing coming nearly over two months ago.
His last appearance prior to yesterday’s debut came in the Champions League dead rubber against Young Boys in early December.

But the 19-year-old replicated what he did at Atalanta and scored on his debut for his new loan side.
It would have been understandable if the youngster was nervous amid his move up north, embarking on his first loan spell away from Manchester United.
But the talented youngster was confident and showed straight away what an asset he can be in van Bronckhorst’s side.
Cutting inside on his left-foot and unleashing shots, backing himself to beat the full-back one-v-one and drifting off the touchline to take up a more central position, it was an impressive and eye-catching start to life in Scotland for United’s number 16.
His performance certainly caught the eye of his Manchester United teammates and Bruno Fernandes in-particular.

The Portuguese international uploaded a highlight reel of Amad’s performance onto his Instagram story with a comment that translated to ‘Fly boy’.
United’s ‘Portuguese Magnifico’ was the man to assist Amad’s only goal for the Reds to date, in last season’s 1-1 draw against AC Milan at Old Trafford.
The youngster used the pace of Fernandes’ lofted through ball to lob Gianluigi Donnarumma with a clever header.
Several of Amad’s other Manchester United teammates also reacted to his Instagram post after making his debut.

Donning the number nine shirt for the Scottish giants, Amad showed his predatory goalscoring instincts by tapping home the opener.
The Ivory Coast international was replaced in the 66th minute and the topsy-turvy game at Ross County finished 3-3.
After Celtic beat Dylan Levitt’s Dundee United 1-0, Rangers’ great rivals closed the gap at the top of the table to two points.

The Scottish giants face one and other on Wednesday at Celtic Park.
That will be quite the test for Amad playing in a hostile and raucous atmosphere, but you wouldn’t back against the wonderkid from making it two goals in two games.
