Bruno Fernandes has heaped praise on three of his Manchester United teammates following an action-packed 4-2 win against rivals Leeds United.
With fans back at Elland Road for the first time in this fixture since Leeds returned to the Premier League, the Reds were always going to be expecting a hostile atmosphere.
The treacherous weather conditions only added further needle in the match as both sides went crashing into tackles.

It was a challenge for referee Paul Tierney to ensure the game didn’t threaten to spill over as tempers flared.
But Fernandes who relishes playing on the big stage loved the atmosphere.
Speaking via the club’s website, United’s influential number 18 said: “[It was] unbelievable, I really enjoyed it.
“[There was a] great atmosphere, amazing support from our fans and [it was] a great result for us.”

However, the former Sporting Lisbon man felt Tierney was wrong not to award him a free-kick for what he felt was a foul by Adam Forshaw in the build-up to Raphinha’s equaliser, at the beginning of the second half.
“I think it was a foul because when I passed the ball he stamped on my foot,” he said. “[But] I don’t see if he touches the ball when I did the pass.
“It’s English football so I have to get used to it.”
With the game level at 2-2 with 25 minutes remaining, interim boss Ralf Rangnick decided to make a double change with saw Fred and Anthony Elanga introduced in place of Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard.

The German’s changes were vindicated as Fred and Elanga scored United’s third and fourth goal to ensure we left West Yorkshire with all three points.
Fernandes praised both of Rangnick’s substitutes for their telling contributions and Scott McTominay for his battling all-action midfield display.
“Fred is a player that works very hard and doesn’t get a lot of praise,” Fernandes said. “Him and Scott are two players who are really important for us in many games.
“I’m really happy for him and also for Anthony [Elanga], who got his goal. He’s a kid that deserves that.”
