Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has provided an injury update on Bruno Fernandes ahead of Thursday night’s game with Tottenham.
Bruno Fernandes was substituted in extra-time of Manchester United’s FA Cup semi-final win over Brighton.
He was pictured with an ice pack on his ankle and then his partner shared an image of him relaxing at home this week with his foot in a protective boot.
This appears just to have been precautionary, but he is still rated questionable for the Tottenham game.

Bruno Fernandes injury update
Erik ten Hag told his press conference that Bruno Fernandes’ status is uncertain for the Tottenham fixture.
He said: “We have to see how Bruno Fernanndes is. We don’t know yet, he is a question mark.”
Ten Hag went on to clarify that the protective boot he was wearing was just United being extra safe.
He added: “It’s more often that players [wear the boot], we protect them. Prevention. But it has to settle down so we have all seen he played the full game and it happened in the first half. But, Thursday, so tomorrow, is quick but we have to see what is possible.”
Bruno Fernandes produced a man of the match performance in Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Tottenham at Old Trafford earlier this season.
Clearly he will do everything possible to feature and will probably travel with the squad to London for the game.
At a guess I would project Fernandes to be on the bench against Tottenham.
There is another big game against in-form Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday, and Ten Hag will be planning ahead with that fixture in mind too.
