Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes is nursing an injury at home as he recharges after the FA Cup semi-final.

Bruno Fernandes‘ partner Ana Pinho shared an image on her Instagram Stories of the Manchester United star recharging at home.

He is pictured wearing a protective boot on his right foot, with crutches laid beside him.

Bruno Fernandes looks relaxed but this is not exactly ideal from Manchester United’s perspective.

The midfielder sustained an injury during the FA Cup semi-final win over Brighton.

He picked up the ankle injury during the first half but could not complete extra time and was substituted in the 101st minute.

Fernandes was seen at Wembley with an ice pack on his ankle and MUTV pundit Danny Webber said he saw him pitchside with ‘heavy strapping’ after the game.

ESPN reported earlier today that Bruno Fernandes is currently viewed as ‘doubtful’ for Manchester United’s match with Tottenham on Thursday night.

He might not be needed, with Tottenham in poor form. United will tread carefully, not wanting to aggravate Fernandes’ injury and lose another key player for the FA Cup final in June, with Lisandro Martinez already out with a broken metatarsal.
