Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes did not last all 120 minutes against Brighton in the FA Cup semi-final.
If there is one player Manchester United can rely on for fitness it is Bruno Fernandes. He is the club’s most used player this season.
Unfortunately he could not quite make it to the penalty shootout. He sustained a knock in the first half and while he powered through, ultimately, he was substituted for Marcel Sabitzer.
With Fernandes’ reliable penalty record, this is not a decision manager Erik ten Hag would have taken lightly.

Fernandes ‘heavily strapped’
Bruno Fernandes was seen after 90 minutes with an ice pack on his leg as he was spoken to by the medical staff. He continued into extra time but was substituted in the 101st minute.
Speaking to MUTV at full-time, former Manchester United trainee Danny Webber explained what he saw pitch-side after Fernandes came off.
Webber said: “There is definitely something there. He rolled his ankle it swells and can become really painful.
“You can take painkillers or anti-inflams and get through, he did really well to be fair. I thought he might not come out in the second half he lasted a lot longer.
“He was heavily strapped and its a case now of icing it, resting it. You can recover quite quickly providing the actual injury isn’t too bad.”
Erik ten Hag did not discuss Fernandes’ injury after the game and Manchester United will just have to see how it pans out in the coming days.
The fact he was able to play through the pain and complete the game in regulation time suggests he will be good to go for Thursday night.
United visit Tottenham in the Premier League, who are reeling from a 6-1 defeat to Newcastle. We might not even need Fernandes to roll them over.
