Bruno Fernandes has a message for Manchester United’s next batch of signings. He wants winners.
He told the club website: “Everyone wants to come here. It’s easy for Manchester and I hope to build a big team, you know?
“We already have a big team, but whoever comes needs to come to win. Just to focus to win, I want people hungry for titles and everything.
“I feel this now in the group, everyone wants to win.”

Culture changer
Fernandes is partly responsible for Manchester United’s recent unbeaten run, which has seen the team showcasing a new attitude.
The players appear more confident, assured, and driven, and this comes from Fernandes himself.
He admitted to being angry after the draw away at Everton, and made clear he was upset to have dropped points.
Previously United might have looked on this 1-1 draw as a good result, especially considering the heavy defeat at Goodison Park last season.
Instead Fernandes made very clear that a win would have been the only acceptable result.
He is a leader in the dressing room already and is playing and behaving like a captain, even without the armband.
It says everything about his winning attitude that he is already making demands for new signings with the same ambition and quality.
He clearly feels this United squad are on the cusp of being able to do something special, and a big transfer window is needed to help get there.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will surely be listening to his key man, if he hasn’t already drawn the same conclusion, having seen the impact that adding a ‘winner’ to the squad can make.
