Manchester United are closing in on a deal for Bruno Fernandes. The Telegraph report the deal will cost £68 million, with £46.6 million up front.
United are signing a game changer, a player who can break teams down, and make his teammates better.
We have had a look at some of the numbers behind Fernandes’ time at Sporting.

This season
Fernandes has scored eight goals in 17 Primeira Liga games, and five in five Europa League matches.
To add to his 13 goals, he has 10 assists, three in the Europa and seven in the league.
In the Europa League he averages 4.8 shots per match, and in the Portuguese league he is averaging 3.7 chances created per game.
Last season
The 2018/19 season was a special one for Fernandes. He scored 20 league goals and provided 13 assists.
In all competitions he scored 32 goals and finished on 18 assists. Prolific does not even do the 25-year-old justice.
