Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes appear in good spirits as they step up training together for Portugal’s upcoming internationals.
After a disappointing result for Manchester United last week, the two Red Devils stars are getting time to train alongside one another in the sun.

International breaks are always seen as a bit of a pain from a club perspective but this one might work out alright for Manchester United.
It is a chance to have a breather before an intense set of fixtures, and also allows us to step away from the poor form the team was in.
There is plenty for the coaching staff to dig into, in terms of analysis and data, and this time can be spent working with the players who are at Carrington currently, like Nemanja Matic, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.
Fernandes and Ronaldo have two soft international fixtures upcoming against Qatar and Luxembourg. Neither are likely to play 90 minutes in both games.

They should return refreshed and confident for United’s next match, an away game at Leicester City on October 16.
More time for Ronaldo and Fernandes on the training pitch and in games together to link up and work on learning each other’s movement and thought processes is always welcome, and having a fresh environment to do it in can work too.
Ronaldo has five goals for United already while Fernandes has four goals this season and three assists.
