BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton has made a bold prediction for the “tough” Premier League match between Wolves and Manchester United at the Molineux on Thursday.
Manchester United have won only once in their last five Premier League matches, with the Red Devils held to a 2-2 draw against Tottenham earlier this month.
Erik ten Hag’s men are currently eighth in the Premier League table after 21 matches played, with United 11 points adrift from the top four.
Outside of their Premier League campaign, United are out of the Champions League and the Carabao Cup and only remain in the FA Cup.
The Red Devils have secured their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup after they defeated Newport County 4-2 at the Rodney Parade on Sunday.
United played Wolves in their opening Premier League match of the season and secured a 1-0 victory at Old Trafford last August thanks to Raphael Varane.

Sutton on feeling ‘sorry’ for Ten Hag
Speaking in his column for BBC Sport, Chris Sutton admitted that he has felt “sorry” for Erik ten Hag over the problems that he faced at Manchester United.
The 50-year-old TNT Sports pundit pointed to examples involving the likes of Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes.
Rashford missed United’s FA Cup tie on the weekend and Ten Hag was quizzed about the England international’s visit to Belfast nightclubs last week.
United have since issued a statement on Rashford, with Ten Hag previously claiming that the player’s actions were an internal matter for him to resolve.
“I feel sorry for Erik ten Hag. Even when his Manchester United side win, there always seems to be something going on,” Sutton said.
“This time it is about what is happening with Marcus Rashford or Bruno Fernandes basically saying some of their players are too greedy in front of goal.
“This is a tough game for United and Wolves will still feel hard done by after creating so many chances at Old Trafford in August, when they were the better team and still losing the game.”
Sutton’s prediction for Wolves vs Man United
Ten Hag is seeing his United squad strengthened with the return of players from injuries, with both Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro playing against Newport County.
Despite the Dutchman receiving a much-needed boost in players returning to his United first team, Sutton isn’t convinced the Red Devils will beat Wolves.
The BBC Sport pundit said that Wolves are a “well-balanced” side and Gary O’Neil’s men are “hard to beat.”
Sutton has predicted a 1-1 scoreline for Wolves vs United, which would be a big blow in Ten Hag’s hopes of leading the Red Devils to a top-four finish.
“United are getting their injured players back, like Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro, but I am still not convinced by them as a team,” he added.
“They are good on the counter, but Wolves are well balanced and I don’t think they will get caught out too often there.
“Gary O’Neil’s side are hard to beat, so I am going to go with a draw.”
