Antony’s representatives are staying in England to secure dream Manchester United transfer

The South American, who Romano claims is ‘obsessed’ with a move to the Theatre of Dreams, has been Ten Hag’s priority forward target throughout the summer transfer window.
But after losing several of their key players this summer including Lisandro Martinez to Manchester United – the reigning Eredivisie champions have dug their heels in and demanded that United meet their asking price for Antony.
The Brazilian had started the season in fine form for the Amsterdam giants, but in the last week he has made it abundantly clear that he wants to reunite with his former boss.
Having missed training, Antony wasn’t part of Ajax’s matchday squad for their 1-0 win against Sparta Rotterdam at the weekend.

But while Antony has made his position to his current employers crystal clear, The Telegraph reports that his representatives are ready and waiting in England to complete the deal with Manchester United once a deal has been struck with Ajax.
The report states: “Ajax forward Antony wants to push through a move to Manchester United in the next few days and his representatives are staying in England for the rest of the transfer window to help complete his dream transfer.
“The Brazil international, 22, is determined to switch to the Premier League in the next week and is waiting for United to agree a fee with his club.
“Agents for 4ComM, who look after his interests, are understood to be basing themselves in London where United have offices.”
The Telegraph report that Manchester United may have to pay up to €100m (£84.31m) including add-ons to land Antony.
In the last week, the Brazilian has reacted to his fellow countryman Casemiro’s arrival to Manchester United and commented on his former Ajax teammate Martinez’s Instagram post after the 2-1 win against Liverpool.
