Lisandro Martinez showed his quality as Manchester United beat Liverpool on Monday night.
The former Ajax star was voted by United fans as man of the match, and won the applause of his teammates too.
Now a player who could join him at Old Trafford has joined in the applause, with Antony reaching out to congratulate him on the move.
Antony responded to Lisandro Martinez’s latest message on Instagram, celebrating the victory.

Antony sends message to Manchester United star
Antony has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, with The Times reporting he is next on the club’s list of potential signings.
He sent a message hailing Martinez’s contribution in the memorable victory against Liverpool, United’s first in the Premier League since 2018, when Jose Mourinho was in charge.
Antony played alongside Martinez at Ajax last season and is expected to follow the defender by joining Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Fabrizio Romano reports Antony has even agreed personal terms with United, with just a fee required to be negotiated with Ajax. This has been a sticking point all summer long.
While United’s start to the season screamed ‘crisis club’, Monday’s game was a great advert for the club, a show of what the team are capable of with an Old Trafford crowd roaring them on.
It was the type of game which will have further inspired Antony to push for his dream move to Old Trafford, and this one could well get done before the transfer deadline.
