Manchester United loanee Antony sent out a clear-cut reaction to fans after his impact again for La Liga club Real Betis against Real Sociedad on Sunday.
Antony made his exit from Old Trafford last month and the former Ajax star completed a loan move to Real Betis until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
Betis reportedly agreed to cover a large portion of the 24-year-old winger’s wages and Antony received an opportunity to revive his career away from Old Trafford.
Antony had struggled to make a real impact since his big-money move to Manchester United in 2022 and the Brazilian forward often came under criticism.
The United player fell down the pecking order under Red Devils manager Ruben Amorim and had only managed 14 appearances for his side this season.
Antony, who is under contract with the Red Devils until 2027, netted only once for United in the 2024-25 campaign before he moved to Spain for his loan.

Antony’s verdict after Betis match
Antony has enjoyed immediate success during the early part of his loan spell at Real Betis, with the Manchester United winger finally turning his form around.
The Brazil international has scored three times in four appearances for Betis across all competitions and Antony has also picked up an assist for the Spanish side.
Antony broke the deadlock for Betis in the second half at the Benito Villamarin on Sunday, with the United star scoring a sensational volley.
The former Ajax and Brazil winger met a looping clearance with a powerful first-time shot, with the ball directed straight into the bottom corner in the 51st minute.
A five-minute brace from Marc Roca ensured that Betis sealed all three points against Real Sociedad, who were reduced to nine men in the La Liga clash.

Antony took to Instagram after the match and sent the message ‘Mucho Betis,’ which roughly translates to ‘a lot of Betis’ from Spanish to English.
The Betis player accompanied his message with a praying emoji and a heart emoji, with United-linked star Matheus Cunha wasting no time in responding.
Replying to Antony’s post, Wolves player Matheus Cunha told his Brazil teammate: “That’s what it’s about my brotha! Reinvent.”
Antony’s agent speaks out on player
Antony’s future at Old Trafford remains up in the air and the player’s agent admitted that there could “still be a few more chapters” during his time at United.
“I believe that football is very dynamic. There are no long-term plans to be made,” Junior Pedroso said.
“There may still be a few more chapters in his story with Manchester United, or there may not be.
“This will depend on many factors involving decisions by the club and him in the near future.
“Antony respects Amorim a lot, for sure. But we understood in January that his moment at the club was not good, so Manchester United also understood that leaving on loan was the best way for Antony to recover his best form.”
