Manchester United player Antony sent out a heartfelt message to Real Betis fans after his stunning impact against RCD Espanyol in La Liga on Sunday.

Antony completed a move away from Old Trafford during the January transfer window and the former Ajax ace signed on loan for Spanish side Real Betis.

The 25-year-old Brazilian winger was unable to establish himself as a regular in the Manchester United first-team squad under Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim.

Antony was handed a fresh start with Betis back in January, with the La Liga outfit agreeing to cover a large portion of his United wages during his loan spell.

The United star has been able to put his career back on track and Antony has impressed during his time at the Villamarin Stadium under Manuel Pellegrini.

Antony, who is under contract with United until 2027, has scored seven times and picked up four assists in 20 matches for Betis during his six-month loan spell.

Man Utd loanee Antony makes his feelings clear after Real Betis’ La Liga win over RCD Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium

Manchester United star Antony played the full 90 minutes for Real Betis in his side’s 2-1 comeback victory over RCD Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium on Sunday.

Roberto Fernandez fired RCD Espanyol into a first-half lead and the Spanish side took a 1-0 advantage into half-time, with Manuel Pellegrini’s men left chasing the match.

Betis climbed back into the match late in the second half after former Tottenham star Giovani Lo Celso cancelled out Roberto Fernandez’s first-half opener.

Antony then made his presence felt only six minutes after Giovani Lo Celso’s equaliser, with the United winger netting the winner in the 91st minute.

Pellegrini’s side ensured their victory over RCD Espanyol and Betis walked away with all three La Liga points at the RCDE Stadium on the weekend.

Antony took to Instagram and perfectly summed up his feelings after he curled his sensational strike past a helpless Joan Garcia in injury time.

Posting to his 10.5m Instagram followers, he wrote in Portuguese: “Vivendo meu sonho com vocês!!”

Antony’s message roughly translated from Portuguese to English said: “Living my dream with you!!”

Man Utd winger Antony has revived his career at Real Betis and become a key player for Manuel Pellegrini

Antony’s long-term future at Old Trafford remains uncertain and the Brazil winger has been able to send his harshest critics a message with his Real Betis form.

The Betis attacker has established himself as an important first-team player for ex-Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini and he is impressing with his confidence.

Betis are sixth in the La Liga table and Pellegrini’s men are only one point behind fifth-place Villarreal and four points adrift from fourth-place Athletic Club.

Pellegrini’s side will now switch their attention to their Conference League campaign and will now face Fiorentina in their second-leg semi-final clash on Thursday.
