Manchester United loanee Rasmus Hojlund continues to shine in Serie A for Napoli.
Rasmus Hojlund is loving life on loan at Napoli, as he was keen to point out after helping them win the Italian Super Cup just last week.
He took a dig at United by posting about what a great decision he had made, even though he was desperate to stay with the Red Devils back in the summer.

Hojlund followed this up by helping Napoli to one more Serie A win to close out 2025, winning 2-0 away at Cremonese.
The Manchester United loanee scored both goals in the first half, taking his tally to six goals in 12 Serie A games.
His total tally in all competitions for Napoli now stands at nine goals in 19 appearances.
Antonio Conte praises Rasmus Hojlund
Rasmus Hojlund’s brace helped Napoli to keep up the pressure at the top of the Serie A table, where they trail leaders AC Milan by just one point.
Speaking after the game, Napoli manager Antonio Conte spoke about his excitement for Rasmus Hojlund and how he is developing.
Conte told TMW: “He’s a very young player, first and foremost, and he has a lot of room for improvement.
“He’s becoming a dominant player in his position.”
Conte added that he believes Hojlund’s striker instincts are improving, and believes there is a lot more growth to come from the forward.
“He’s starting to understand when to attack space, when to hold the ball, and when to come forward.
“In my style of football, attackers have a unique role, and he has huge room for improvement.”

Hojlund did not win over Amorim
Manchester United took a bet on Rasmus Hojlund’s potential, when the club spent £64 million to sign him from Atalanta.
He endured a mixed first season that ultimately saw him dropped for the FA Cup Final, and he struggled throughout 2024/25.
The change of manager from Erik ten Hag to Ruben Amorim did not improve his fortunes, and Hojlund’s performances actually got worse under the new head coach.
Hojlund scored eight goals in 40 matches under Amorim, and just three in 25 Premier League appearances.
Amorim felt that Hojlund did not show enough to be his lead striker, and finding a replacement became a top priority.
Hojlund arrived at Napoli with a point to prove, and while his time in Italy has not been totally smooth, he is clearly enjoying his football right now.
