Amad Diallo dropped a clear-cut post aimed at Manchester United fans after the Red Devils’ final Premier League clash of the season against Aston Villa on Sunday.

The Red Devils were back in action at Old Trafford on the weekend only days after Manchester United’s Europa League final defeat to Tottenham in Bilbao.

United bounced back from the loss to Tottenham at the San Mames Stadium in the 2025 Europa League final by securing a 2-0 Premier League win over Aston Villa.

Ruben Amorim’s men went into half-time at Old Trafford with a 0-0 scoreline on the board, despite United impressing against Villa in the first half of Sunday’s tie.

Villa, on the other hand, were forced to play the second half with 10 men after Emiliano Martinez’s first-half injury-time tackle saw him dismissed from the pitch.

Amad Diallo impressed United fans with his performance and the 22-year-old Ivorian winger broke the deadlock for the Red Devils in the 76th minute at Old Trafford.

Ruben Amorim’s side ensured their win on the weekend after Christian Eriksen came off the bench in the second half and converted a penalty in the 87th minute.

United’s Premier League result over Villa moved the Red Devils to 15th place in the league table on the final day of the club’s lacklustre 2024-25 season.

Ruben Amorim makes his feelings known on Man Utd’s 2024-25 season after the Premier League win vs Aston Villa at Old Trafford

United manager Ruben Amorim admitted that he thinks the Red Devils are “improving” and he hinted at better times ahead for the Premier League club.

“That, we have to see next season,” he said at his post-match press conference, as per Manchester United’s official website.

“I think we are, again, we are improving as a team, sometimes the results don’t show that but we are improving.

“Again, in the final, I think it was not a great game but if you ask anyone who is the better team in the game, it was us, that is clear.

“Today, we did a good game against a team that, with one point, could [have been] be in the Champions League.

“So, I think we are improving. And then we are changing so many things in Carrington, there are so many things important in this club that the results don’t show, you cannot see it, but they will be really important in the future.”

United finished level on points with 16th-place Wolves and the Red Devils ended the campaign with their worst Premier League placement since the league’s inception.
