Alex Telles made his first Champions League start at Old Trafford and it was everything we wanted it to be.
Telles created four goalscoring chances in the 4-1 victory, which sent United three points clear at the top of Group H.
The former Porto full-back sent a message to supporters on Instagram celebrating the win.
Telles has started the last two United games and he looks like a big asset already.
His willingness to attack gives United an outlet down the left and the quality of his deliveries is consistently outstanding.
Telles is also deadly from set pieces too, with his corners creating problems for Istanbul and leading to United’s first goal, which was struck sweetly by Bruno Fernandes from the edge of the box.
Already Telles looks like a must start for United against Southampton this weekend and PSG in the Champions League next week.
