Manchester United’s international players are making their way back to England.
Alex Telles and Bruno Fernandes both posted images to their Instagram pages tagged with the location ‘Manchester’ on Wednesday night.

Telles had a longer trip, flying back from South America after Brazil’s away win over Uruguay.
The left-back was an unused substitute, which works well for Telles and United.
It is important to get the former Porto man integrated into the team as quickly as possible. He has played just 66 minutes so far in a United shirt.

Having him back so promptly ahead of the weekend works well. With long trips back from South America especially with the Covid situation, there is the possibility of delays and complications. Telles seems to have evaded those.
Fernandes is another player likely to start in Saturday’s 8pm game against West Bromwich Albion.
One player doing his best to prepare is Fred, who has been in Manchester over the past fortnight.
He has been doing extra training work to keep fit. Total commitment to looking after himself is one of the secrets of his success.
Fred said he was just ‘working’, while his trainer labelled him ‘on fire’, a reference to his work rate on and off the pitch.

United will need Fred to be at the top of his game over the next few weeks.
He was in outstanding form before the international break, and if he can carry on, then United should be able to finally pick up a first home league win of the season on Saturday.
