Manchester United have said goodbye to Marcus Rashford once more after the forward completed a loan move to Barcelona on Wednesday.
Bryan Mbeumo joined Manchester United earlier this week, handing Ruben Amorim a second attacking boost of the summer.
United pounced to sign Matheus Cunha early in the window, but a deal to sign Mbeumo from Brentford dragged on and on.
Mbeumo is finally on board, and United’s attention is now turning to offloading fringe attackers from Amorim’s squad.
Atletico Madrid are interested in Antony, while Jadon Sancho is a top Juventus target after being made available.
Marcus Rashford was also made available, with Amorim standing firm on the forward’s future following his return from Aston Villa.

Alejandro Garnacho reacts to Marcus Rashford move
Barcelona have now snapped up Rashford, taking the United attacker on loan for the 2025-26 season.
Barca will have a chance to turn the move permanent next summer, with Rashford’s United career potentially coming towards an end.
Hansi Flick’s side were looking for a versatile attacker who could support Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal.
Rashford has been chosen, and the England international now has the chance to secure a long-term future in Catalunya.
Fellow United attacker Alejandro Garnacho has offered his reaction on Instagram, sending just two words in response to Barcelona’s announcement.
‘Let’s goooo,’ said Garnacho, seemingly celebrating Rashford’s departure from Old Trafford.
Garnacho will just want to see Rashford get his career back on track after being frozen out by Amorim and then sent on loan to Villa.
A move to Barcelona is a major moment for Rashford, and Garnacho is clearly supporting his old United teammate – but is also looking for a move of his own.
Alejandro Garnacho waiting for Manchester United exit
Garnacho has been told to leave United by Amorim, with the Argentinian having no future at Old Trafford.
The winger has huge potential, and many would have expected him to be the most-wanted man from United’s list of available players.
However, Rashford has gone, and both Antony and Sancho are attracting interest around Europe.
Interest in Garnacho appears to be slow right now, and while we would expect him to move on before the transfer deadline, business needs to pick up soon.
Major European clubs will be eyeing Garnacho, and he may land a big move of his own this summer, having seen Rashford finalise his exit.
