Alejandro Garnacho shares training pictures with Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of possible Manchester United debut

Alejandro Garnacho is beginning to really look the part. He has been a regular in first team training over the past week and appears at home with his teammates.

The Argentina international appears to have impressed Ralf Rangnick, making the bench for matches against Norwich and Liverpool.

Last night Garnacho was not part of United’s under-23 side who played against Arsenal and drew 1-1. Noam Emeran scored the goal from a Shola Shoretire assist.

Hannibal Mejbri was a starter in the game at Old Trafford, but it seems Garnacho will be on first team duty.

Ready with Ronaldo

Last week Garnacho hailed Cristiano Ronaldo as the greatest of all time after his 60th career hat-trick.

Ronaldo even gave Garnacho the match ball after the game. And it seems Garnacho can’t get enough of being pictured with his idol. He shared a couple of pictures from training ahead of the Arsenal game.

Garnacho has a chance of making his debut against Arsenal, although he will likely have to settle for being a substitute.

He is an attacking option behind Anthony Elanga, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho, for one of the two wide spots, while Cristiano Ronaldo will start up front.

Rashford famously made his Premier League debut against Arsenal and scored twice. Garnacho has the same fearlessness about his game that Rashford had in 2016.

With 16 goals this season at academy level, Garnacho will be desperate to get a chance and take it at first team level.
