It seems like so long ago. On this day in 2013 Manchester United demolished Aston Villa to clinch a 20th Premier League title.
Robin van Persie scored a hat-trick to cap a fantastic individual season, wrapping it up in style with a stunning volley from a Wayne Rooney assist.
When he celebrated, he knew. His big move to Old Trafford was all worth it.

We haven’t had many trophies to cheer since, and little did we know at the time that Sir Alex Ferguson’s fateful retirement was just weeks away.
These were happy times. We put City back in their place, and extended our title lead by two over Liverpool, a stretch which for now, still stands.

The celebrations continued inside the dressing room, and no doubt long into the night…
