Ruud van Nistelrooy is preparing to take charge of his second Manchester United match as interim manager.
The Dutchman and legendary Manchester United striker was handed the reins after Erik ten Hag was sacked as manager on Monday.
Ruud van Nistelrooy led United to a 5-2 victory over Leicester City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night in what was his first match as interim manager.
Ruben Amorim has been announced as United’s head coach, but the Sporting Lisbon boss is set to take charge on November 11th.
It means Van Nistelrooy has three games remaining as interim manager, starting with Sunday afternoon’s Premier League clash against Chelsea.

Ruud van Nistelrooy includes academy trio vs Chelsea
Van Nistelrooy has already made some bold choices as United boss, and he included four academy stars on the bench against Leicester City midweek.
Harry Amass, Jack Fletcher, Jayce Fitzgerald and Ethan Wheatley all made the bench against the Foxes, with the latter coming on as a substitute in the final few minutes.
According to Manchester Evening News reporter Steven Railston, Van Nistelrooy has included Wheatley, Fletcher and Fitzgerald in his matchday squad again to face Chelsea.
Fletcher and Fitzgerald are both yet to make their senior debut for United, but after back-to-back inclusions in the matchday squad, they are inching closer to getting on the pitch.
United posted a video of players arriving at Old Trafford for the clash, which confirmed that the academy stars are at Old Trafford and in the squad.
Huge opportunity for Jayce Fitzgerald and Jack Fletcher
Putting faith in youth is a must for any United manager and Van Nistelrooy is keeping to that tradition despite only taking charge for a handful of matches.
There is only a small chance that either Fletcher or Fitzgerald will make their debut against Chelsea, but Van Nistelrooy has put his faith in the academy duo if required.

Fitzgerald has been training with the first-team this week and Van Nistelrooy could leave his mark by adding their names to the history books and giving him his debut.
With upcoming matches against PAOK in the Europa League and Leicester City in the Premier League, there is a good chance to Van Nistelrooy could give the young duo their debuts in the coming weeks.
There has been a lot of excitement around Harry Amass featuring at left-back too, so hopefully he also makes his return to the matchday squad.
