Trying to predict Erik ten Hag’s team selection for Manchester United nowadays is certainly no easy feat.
Erik ten Hag decided to play Noussair Mazraoui as a number 10 for Manchester United with Bruno Fernandes absent from the UEFA Europa League match after being sent off against FC Porto.
Rather than give a chance to Amad Diallo, Ten Hag decided to play one of his trusted lieutenants in Mazraoui in the attacking role but this experiment did not work.
United take on West Ham United this weekend in what is a must win game for the Red Devils, who have just four victories during the campaign. Here is how we think the Dutchman could line up for the game in East London.

How Manchester United could lineup against West Ham
One thing is certain from Ten Hag’s team selection, the back three that the Dutchman experimented with against Fenerbahce cannot be persisted with for the clash against the Hammers.
Andre Onana
Andre Onana is United’s MVP so far this campaign and the Cameroon international is a certainty to start and continued his fantastic performances during the draw against Fenerbahce.
Noussair Mazraoui
Noussair Mazraoui was pushed further forward for the Red Devils but a return to the back four should see the Moroccan back in his usual spot of right-back.
Lisandro Martinez
The current campaign has been one to forget for Lisandro Martinez, with the Argentine struggling to deal with the pace and the physicality in England after his lengthy absence from the team.
Matthijs De Ligt
Matthijs De Ligt had a head injury against Brentford but carried on playing for the Red Devils and looked solid against Fenerbahce and this means he’s surely in line to retain his spot in the team.
Diogo Dalot
One of the more consistent players for the Red Devils this season has been Portuguese defender Diogo Dalot and another appearance at left-back is surely on the cards.
Manuel Ugarte
Manuel Ugarte was brilliant against Fenerbahce and could well finally be settling in at Old Trafford and he deserves to start in East London.
Christian Eriksen

With Kobbie Mainoo out injured for the Red Devils, Christian Eriksen deserves another start with the Dane cementing himself as the surprise star of this current campaign.
Bruno Fernandes
As mentioned, Fernandes missed the draw against Fenerbahce but the United captain should return against West Ham after his assist against Brentford last week.
Marcus Rashford
Whilst he has not been getting the goals that he did during Ten Hag’s debut campaign, Marcus Rashford is putting in consistent 7/10 performances for the Red Devils and has made the right-wing spot his own.
Alejandro Garnacho
Alejandro Garnacho is seemingly on his way to having his breakout season at Old Trafford with Argentine scoring five goals and providing three assists this campaign. He is a must-start.
Rasmus Hojlund
Joshua Zirkzee failed to impress in Turkey and Rasmus Hojlund had a very impressive performance against Brentford and deserves the nod.
