Manchester United supporters have named the man of the match against Nottingham Forest.

The Red Devils battled to a 2-0 away win, the fourth victory over Nottingham Forest this season so far.

Antony and Diogo Dalot scored the goals, topping off a solid display which could have seen United win by three or four.

It was a strong way to respond after a frustrating and costly night against Sevilla which saw United lose Lisandro Martinez and possibly Raphael Varane to season ending injuries.

Man of the match v Nottingham Forest

Manchester United’s dominant display over Nottingham Forest saw a close fought vote for the man of the match award.

Supporters voted via the club website and app and there was just two per cent separating the top two.

Antony scored one and provided an assist, and he was deserving of the accolade.

Bruno Fernandes was highly influential in United’s win too, creating six goalscoring chances.

He was voted as man of the match by Gary Neville on Sky Sports, who lauded the Portuguese star as ‘outstanding’.
