Manchester United supporters have named the man of the match from last night’s thrilling 2-2 draw with Barcelona.

United fell behind, took the lead, and left with a point, from an enthralling game which saw the team unlucky not to win, while also having to cling on for a draw late on.

Marcus Rashford scored United’s first goal, with Jules Kounde turning another into his own net.

The tie is all to play for at Old Trafford next week. Unfortunately the two away goals do not count, with that rule scrapped a year ago.

Man of the match v Barcelona

Manchester United supporters voted for the man of the match against Barcelona via the club website.

The award was won by Marcus Rashford for the second game in a row with more than half the vote.

Rashford has won more man of the match awards than any player this season. Considering the number of goals he has scored, this is not a surprise.

He has a career equalling best 22 goals in all competitions this season, and it is only mid-February.

Rashford was hailed by Rio Ferdinand after the game, and the forward will be determined to step up next week and repeat his heroics in the second leg at Old Trafford.
