Manchester United supporters have voted the team’s man of the match for the win over Leeds United at Elland Road.
Two second half goals from Marcus Rashford and substitute Alejandro Garnacho provided a 2-0 away win, making up for a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in midweek.
This was just United’s second win the last five Premier League games, and showed the team can win matches without the suspended Casemiro.
United travel to Barcelona for the Europa League knockout match this week, before hosting Leicester City in the Premier League next Sunday.

Man of the match v Leeds
Manchester United fans voted for the man of the match against Leeds via the club’s official site and app.
- Marcus Rashford: 51 per cent
- David de Gea: 9 per cent
- Alejandro Garnacho: 7 per cent
- Fred: 7 per cent
- Marcel Sabitzer: 6 per cent
- Luke Shaw: 6 per cent
- Wout Weghorst: 5 per cent
- Bruno Fernandes: 4 per cent
- Other players two per cent or less
The results of the poll disagreed with Sky Sports, who named midfielder Fred as their man of the match.
A tally last week showed Marcus Rashford had won more man of the match votes than any player this season.
His goal against Leeds was his 21st strike of the season so far. He is just one away from his career best tally, set three years ago. He also has eight assists.
Alejandro Garnacho‘s strike was his third of the season and first of 2023, and will lift his confidence after he expressed frustration in midweek after failing to hit the net.
