Manchester United’s draw with Everton continues a frustrating period of performances.
The 1-1 leaves United second in the Premier League but they missed the chance to go top ahead of Liverpool before they host Manchester City tomorrow.
When United were 1-0 up Jadon Sancho was brought on for injured goalscorer Anthony Martial.
He was then charged with adding urgency to United’s attack and was arguably the brightest spark once the game went to 1-1.

How did Sancho play?
Sancho did more than most in the closing stages, attacking with purpose down the left.
United’s best chance of the half fell to him and unfortunately he didn’t get hold of it and shot straight at international teammate Jordan Pickford.
But there were signs his confidence is growing, even though the team performance was disjointed in the second period.
No United player – starter or substitute – laid on more chances than his two key passes, as per WhoScored.
