Man Utd ace gets ‘biggest compliment’ from MUTV pundit despite Wolves loss, he deserves ‘huge credit’

Manchester United’s already written-off Premier League campaign received another blow, this time by Wolves at Old Trafford in a 0-1 loss.

The 0-1 loss to Wolves was a game lacking quality overall, so it was poetic that a single moment of class from Pablo Sarabia was enough to decide the game.

Weirdly enough, Man Utd have played worse this season and won, since Wolves won with their only proper shot on target while United wasted many chances.

Despite the result, however, the performance was encouraging, summed up by one player who was given the ‘biggest compliment’ by MUTV pundit Danny Webber.

Man Utd ace deserves ‘huge credit’

The loss undoubtedly hurts but it can be argued that the biggest motivation in this game for Amorim was to protect his overplayed players.

Fernandes didn’t only the second game since January 2022 which he was available while Diogo Dalot had played 67 of the previous 69 fixtures.

They got a breezy 30 minutes instead and with the next game a week away, should be fresh for the Europa League games where it really matters.

In the meantime, Tyler Fredricson received his United debut while Harry Amass continued to gain Amorim’s trust with another starting berth.

Fredricson shone on debut and emerged as one of the few players to come out of the game with immense credit to their name.

Danny Webber paid him the ‘biggest compliment’ a youngster can get, saying: “It’s amazing. I think one of the biggest compliments you can you can play, is that he didn’t look out of place.

“He made the right decisions, and he looked like he’d been there for a long time, so you’ve got to give him, give him huge credit, because, as we said before the game, you never know until you’re out there what somebody’s going to react like, sink or swim, so, fair play/”

Tyler Fredricson and Harry Amass show Ruben Amorim the way

Man Utd fans have long been clamouring for more youngsters to get a chance in the first-team because no youngster has been disappointing so far.

Fredricson added his name to that list and, in the process, has shown Amorim the way because he’s been reluctant to introduce too many.

The likes of Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof have no future at the club and the remaining five Premier League games are a free hit in terms of fan expectations and results.

More debuts can easily be given instead of wasting minutes on players who have no future or haven’t been up to the mark despite a long rope.

Brentford away is a baptism of fire so a couple of sink-or-swim debuts could easily save United millions in the market ahead of a pivotal summer.
