Manchester United looked to have won the game late against Arsenal when Alejandro Garnacho scored. Then it all fell apart.

Alejandro Garnacho’s goal was ruled out for offside, not after a wild, brief moment of celebration among United players at The Emirates.

Footage has been shared of new signing Rasmus Hojlund‘s reaction. Hojlund was captured on camera pulling out a Siuuu celebration.

Rasmus Hojlund is a Ronaldo fan

Rasmus Hojlund is a self-confessed Cristiano Ronaldo super fan. He has admired the Portugal ace from a young age and cites him as an inspiration.

“My father introduced me (to Ronaldo) when he was at United. Then, me and my best friend followed him when he was at Madrid,” Hojlund told TLN earlier in March.

“I just like his mentality. I love that he’s so eager to score a goal. The thing for me is he is so passionate about wanting to be the best, and I like it.”

Plenty more real celebrations ahead

Garnacho’s goal was controversially ruled out for offside, much to the anger of Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.

There will be plenty more moments for Rasmus Hojlund to savour in a Manchester United shirt, including some goals of his own.

Hojlund looked a real threat during his time on the pitch at The Emirates, and he is expected to become a regular starter for Manchester United over the course of the season ahead.

He was praised by Gary Neville, who even pointed out that he can offer Manchester United something Cristiano Ronaldo could not, with his running on and off the ball.

The Dane is now heading on international duty. Hopefully he will return injury-free, and with the added confidence of a few goals, however he chooses to celebrate them.
