Manchester United’s first team players enjoyed a goal glut in the Carabao Cup this week when the team hit Barnsley for seven.
The only thing missing from Manchester United’s brilliant team display and individual performances against Barnsley was a player scoring a hat-trick.
Three players scored braces, with Garnacho missing his chance for a third, while Rashford was substituted and did not play the final half an hour.
One academy player has shown them how it’s done, netting another hat-trick in a friendly this week.

Louie Bradbury nets hat-trick
Promising youth striker Louie Bradbury is on the cusp of a call-up to Manchester United’s under-18s.
Last season Bradbury claimed to have netted 40 goals at under-16s level, and he mixed in with older age groups at summer tournaments in pre-season.
This week United sent an under-17s side to play a friendly match with Preston North End, and won the game 5-0.
Bradbury shared the details on the match via Instagram, posting his shirt and boots, with the caption including, ‘Perfect hat-trick’.

Bradbury’s second hat-trick this month
Louie Bradbury created headlines earlier this month by scoring a hat-trick on international duty with Wales’ under-17s side, his first appearance at that level.
Bradbury completed his hat-trick in just 36 minutes, and with his scoring continuing for United’s academy, it’s clear there is another big talent in the ranks.
Manchester United signed Louie Bradbury in early 2023 from Shrewsbury Town.
When Gabriele Biancheri steps up to United’s under-21 side on a more regular basis, there is a chance Bradbury gets the call to move up into the 18s.
Biancheri has six goals at under-18 level this season plus one goal for the under-21s.
United are also set to add Chido Obi-Martin into the academy squad. While he may begin with the 18s, it will only be a matter of time before he is with the 21s, unless he bypasses it altogether.
