New Manchester United youth addition Gabriele Biancheri showed his goalscoring touch on international duty with Wales.

Manchester United moved to sign Gabriele Biancheri in late January, and his move to the club was confirmed last month.

The 16-year-old striker joined from Cardiff City and has gone straight into Manchester United’s under-18s team.

Last night he was back on international duty for Wales in under-17s European qualifying match away at Scotland.

Gabriele Biancheri scores again

Gabriele Biancheri led Wales to a 4-2 victory over Scotland last night. He scored the second goal of the game after just nine minutes.

Biancheri’s strike came when he was put one on one with the goalkeeper and finished clinically into the bottom corner.

This was his first goal at Wales under-17 level, in his fourth appearance. He had previously featured for Wales under-16s side.

Biancheri made his Manchester United debut earlier this month and scored, netting in a 3-3 draw against Leeds.

He has made two substitute appearances so far totally 52 minutes of game time, so to get on the scoresheet already shows what he is all about.

Last night’s goal for Wales’ under-17 side was a further indicator that Manchester United have signed a gem.

Biancheri’s Wales under-17s are in action next against Iceland on Saturday and then up against Montenegro on Tuesday, with both games at home.

The Manchester United new boy will be looking to continue his recent scoring streak and continue to make a name for himself.
