Young talent Gabriele Biancheri has sealed his transfer move to Manchester United.
The forward posed an image on Instagram wearing the club’s kit, writing: “Ready for the next chapter! Let’s go @manchesterunited ❤️”
Who is Gabriele Biancheri?
Gabriele Biancheri was born on September 18 2006, and is just 16 years old. He will be eligible to sign a profession deal at Manchester United later this year.
Biancheri was previously playing for Cardiff City’s under-18s side, and has also trained with their under-21s.
The Athletic reported at the end of January that Biancheri had undergone a medical with Manchester United after agreeing a move.
Fabrizio Romano subsequently reported on Twitter that the deal was just subject to FIFA approval. This has now been signed off.
Biancheri is a striker who has featured for Wales under-16 side and has been representing them as recently as this month.
Last season he starred for Cardiff’s under-16 side, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists, Wales Online reported.
Earlier this month he wrote on Instagram: “After more than 9 years my time with Cardiff has come to an end. I’d like to thank all of my coaches for helping me become the player and person I am today and to all my teammates. I’ll forever be thankful for the opportunity I’ve had at this club💙.”
