Imminent Manchester United signing Chido Obi-Martin has played his first match in three months.
Manchester United are awaiting clearance from the FA to register the signing of exciting striker Chido Obi-Martin.
Obi-Martin, 16, has decided to leave Arsenal and join Manchester United, a decision that has generated a lot of excitement.
Last season Obi-Martin scored 32 goals in 20 under-18 games, including seven in a single match. He will soon be gracing Manchester United’s academy.

Obi-Martin on target for Denmark under-18s
Chido Ob-Martin has been unable to officially train or play with United since making his decision, with red tape holding up his form.
Fortunately he has been given the chance to get some football under his belt with Denmark’s youth sides.
Chido Obi-Martin was named in the Denmark under-18s squad for the first time, having netted 12 in 19 for his country at under-17s level.
And he wasted little time making an impression. Obi-Martin scored in Denmark’s under-18s 5-3 away win over Norway’s under-18s.
He netted the fifth goal in his side’s victory, showing his eye for goal and just sending a little message to Manchester United in the process.
Obi-Martin’s goal shows he is ready, and he still has his sharpness despite his time sitting out. He has been posting training videos while he waits for his move to Old Trafford to go through.
Samuel Lusale has impressed too
Another young player in a similar situation is outgoing Crystal Palace youth winger Samuel Lusale, who has decided to join Manchester United.
Lusale turned 17 over the weekend, and just before he did, he showed his quality for Slovakia’s under-18s side.
The teenager scored one goal and provided an assist in Slovakia’s 3-2 defeat to Wales. He is also waiting for his deal to be officially signed off by the Premier League.
Manchester United’s under-18s have had a 100 per cent start to the season so far, and once they add in Obi-Martin and Lusale, the side will be even stronger.
