After his shock call-up to the Argentina squad last season, Alejandro Garnacho missed out on the latest Albiceleste squad.
A busy schedule for United awaits which could give him a chance to make a late push for the World Cup – but this has been a quiet international break for him.
Garnacho gave an insight to his activity this week via his Instagram story – he has been playing an early release copy of FIFA 23.
The FA Youth Cup winner even showed off his preferred XI – which of course featured himself in the starting line-up alongside his idol Cristiano Ronaldo.

Garnacho shares his FIFA 23 Manchester United XI
Garnacho selected himself in the front three with Cristiano Ronaldo and new summer signing Antony.
He also showed his admiration for young teammate Zidane Iqbal, who has joined him training with the first team since impressing on pre-season tour.
Iqbal was picked as part of a three-man midfield with Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen, despite having a low FIFA rating.
Garnacho did pick club captain Harry Maguire, leaving Raphael Varane out. This is not likely to be a decision repeated in the Manchester derby this weekend.
Maguire has been in poor form, failing to win a match in his last 10 games for club or country – and looked to pick up an injury in England’s draw with Germany.
Even Garnacho’s first choice pick of striker may not start either, Cristiano Ronaldo’s place will be dependent on whether Marcus Rashford is fit to return from injury.
