The search for Christian Eriksen’s new club is ongoing after the experienced midfielder left Manchester United earlier this summer.
Six players have departed Manchester United so far this summer.
The first three were Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen, and Victor Lindelof, whose deals expired following the end of the season.
Eriksen leaves Old Trafford after spending three years at the club, after initially joining as a free agent from Brentford in 2022. He went on to make 107 appearances for the club and has been tipped for a move to several clubs since his departure.
While Evans has retired and will work at United with loan players, Eriksen and Lindelof have yet to decide on the next step in their careers. They’d had the summer to think about it but the new campaign is getting close.

Phil Parkinson downplays Christian Eriksen rumours
One club interested in Eriksen is Championship outfit Wrexham.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson says there has been ‘dialogue’ over the idea of signing the Denmark international.
The 33-year-old is available on a Bosman this summer, and his agent Martin Schoots revealed Wrexham’s interest in an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail.
“There was a call, a bit of dialogue over the summer, but it’s not gone any further than that,” Parkinson told BBC Sport Wales.
“But obviously he’s a majorly talented player and very well respected throughout football.”
This only creates further uncertainty for Eriksen’s future. It may be the case that his agent is trying to force Wrexham’s hand to spike interest in his client.
The Wrexham story could continue to evolve with Eriksen in midfield next season.
Eriksen’s career club by club
Eriksen has had an incredible career at the top of the game as a player.
On the international stage, he is one of the greatest Denmark players in recent times.
Eriksen also represented Ajax, Tottenham, Inter Milan and Brentford throughout his career.

| Tottenham | 305 | 69 | 88 |

| Manchester United | 107 | 8 | 19 |

It remains to be seen if he is keen on dropping down to the Championship before hanging up his boots.
