Manchester United transfer news: Manchester United have held talks with the agents of Vitor Roque.
Manchester United want a proven goalscorer this summer. That has led to links with the likes of Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen.
But there is an example set by rivals Manchester City, who signed Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez at once. Manchester United need more than one centre-forward.
That’s why moving to sign a young striker too, would be a sensible move, replicating City’s move for Alvarez.

United talks with Vitor Roque
Manchester United have held talks with the agents of Brazil wonderkid Vitor Roque.
The striker’s representatives have flown to England and held initial talks ahead of the transfer window with several select clubs, including Manchester United, reports Globo.
Roque, 18, is eligible to move this summer and has four goals in five games for Atletico Paranaense, averaging a strike every 60 minutes.
While a small sample size, it shows the quality Roque has. He was recently capped by Brazil which will help with a work permit. He also has six goals in 11 games for the Selecao’s under-20 side, helping them to win the recent under-20 World Cup.
Roque reportedly has a release clause of 60 million Euros, claim Gazzetta, currently £52.7 million.
Goal has touted Roque as the new Ronaldo (R9) and the future of Brazilian football.
Only at the right price, would United move, and that’s what these early talks are all about, to establish feasibility, and learn more about the striker’s willingness to join.
