Manchester United witnessed first-hand how devastating Matheus Cunha can be on Thursday, making a swoop even more likely.
The demand for the Brazilian forward is increasing week on week right now with Manchester United among the leading suitors.
Matheus Cunha is thought to be a target not only for United but also for Arsenal.
Ruben Amorim will have been blown away by Cunha’s performance against United on Boxing Day, in which the No.10 scored and assisted.
Cunha scored directly from a corner which is quite embarrassing for Andre Onana, but this could be something they are laughing about in the future if he joins the Red Devils.

Vitor Pereira on Matheus Cunha’s future
Cunha promises to be an in-demand player this January and now his manager has discussed his exit, days after his mesmerising performance against United.
As quoted by The Guardian ahead of Wolves’ game against Tottenham on Sunday, Wolves’ boss Vitor Pereira has spoken out over the future of Cunha.

“I hope he stays with us for a long time but I understand that as a special player, he will have opportunities for sure in his career.
“It is not only about his technique but his personality. He is special because he can take the ball in a moment of pressure and make magic from nothing.”
Cunha has placed himself as a Marcus Rashford replacement option with his sensational performances this season and from Pereira’s admission, a January move sounds possible.

Cunha would instantly be Manchester United’s best attacker
The past few weeks have exposed how thin the options for Manchester United are in attack, with only Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes looking like they have Amorim’s trust.
Of these two starting options, Bruno has not exactly been impressive – which leaves Amad as the only bonafide starter in the ranks.
Due to this, adding a player of Cunha’s quality would be a sensational move from Ineos and could be transformational for Amorim’s team going forward.
Cunha could be open to a United move, and if he joined Antony would be delighted with the transfer.
Wolves may not be keen to sell in January, but if United want to salvage this season then the club must spend.
