Ineos have proven they are not afraid to cash in on Manchester United’s most valuable stars in 2025.
It seems almost everyone in Manchester United’s first-team squad is up for sale at the right price as Ineos look to trim the squad and balance the books at Old Trafford.
At the start of December, reports claimed there were only six unsellables at United, but even that no longer seems to be the case.
That is because the sale of Kobbie Mainoo cannot be ruled out with United reluctantly ready to consider offers for the academy star.
There has also been contact made for Alejandro Garnacho by European giants with PSG and Napoli both showing interest. The young duo are just two of seven United stars who boast a transfer value of over £50m.

Seven Man United stars valued over £50m
After spending £200m over the summer, the Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) have shackled the club’s spending this month.
One way to navigate the regulations is to raise money through sales, and that seems to be exactly what Ineos are planning.
iNews have listed the value of United’s squad and only seven players are currently worth more than £50million – many of them are up for sale.
They claim Marcus Rashford, Rasmus Hojlund, Manuel Ugarte, Lisandro Martinez, Leny Yoro, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo are all worth over £50m in today’s market.
| Manchester United player | Value |
| Marcus Rashford | £71.8m |
| Alejandro Garnacho | £60.6m |
| Kobbie Mainoo | £60.3m |
| Rasmus Hojlund | £59.1m |
| Leny Yoro | £59m |
| Manuel Ugarte | £56.9m |
| Lisandro Martinez | £54.7m |
Rashford is viewed as United’s most lucrative asset with a value of £71.8m. However, after dropping out of Amorim’s squad and reports of attitude problems means the Red Devils may have to slash Rashford’s asking price.
It looks likely that Rashford may leave United on loan this month, but Rashford’s asking price is just £40m if a permanent offer does arrive.
Man United stars linked with exit in 2025
Rashford has dominated headlines in recent weeks after the bombshell announcement that he is ready for a “new challenge”. An exit this month almost feels inevitable after being left out of Amorim’s squad.
But he is just one of many lucrative United stars tipped to leave. Real Madrid are interested in Martinez, while Chelsea are monitoring Mainoo in case he fails to agree a new contract at Old Trafford.
Amorim wants to keep Mainoo, and the Portuguese head coach has also left the door open for Rashford.
Out of the list, Ugarte and Yoro appear to be the most untouchable members of the squad having arrived in the summer and made a positive impact on the squad.
The report claims that their values have increased since their summer move with Yoro now worth £59m and Ugarte valued at £57m.
