Manchester United have always had a strong academy and Ruben Amorim will be tasked with bringing through quality prospects.
Manchester United have spent an enormous amount of money since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement but have continued to bring through academy stars.
Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo are perfect examples of how players can rise through the ranks at Old Trafford.
Ethan Wheatley became United’s 250th first-team debutant from the academy back in April and there should be many more to come.
Amorim has taken a liking to Godwill Kukonki whilst Jack Moorhouse is catching the eye in the United ranks.
United academy talents will be hoping for first-team chances in 2025 and throughout the Amorim era with one teenager really impressing of late.

Buzz building around Manchester United teenager
The Daily Mail now claim that Jay McEvoy is turning heads at United.
The 16-year-old has already been brought up into Under-21 training having caught the eye at academy level.
It’s stated that that McEvoy has been earning ‘rave reviews’ and has shown ‘strong footballing IQ’.
McEvoy is viewed alongside JJ Gabriel in terms of being one of United’s top talent and the plan is for them both to play against talents above their age.
McEvoy is being somewhat fast-tracked in the United ranks with real hope that he can become a star down the line.
A first-team debut is still a long way off for McEvoy but the midfielder will be looking to follow in the footsteps of Mainoo at Old Trafford.

Jay McEvoy comparisons will excite Manchester United fans
McEvoy is a talented midfield player with quick feet, composure on the ball and a fine passing range.
The ability to take the ball on the edge of his own box and play out – either through passing or dribbling – is just so impressive and potentially valuable in this era of high pressing.
McEvoy has impressed so much in United’s youth ranks that the Italian media started making enormous comparisons.
It was suggested that McEvoy is similar to Barcelona legend Xavi in terms of his style of play.
Matching Xavi’s achievements is a huge ask but that style of play could become key under Amorim in the future.
Amorim handed 27 debuts to academy talents at Sporting and the hope is that McEvoy will become one of his debutants at Old Trafford.
